Being a small shop, most of the equipment is on mobile bases and they frequently find themselves operating in the driveway. Shown here is our "CARVE WRIGHT", 3 axis CNC carving machine.

Back to Top Just inside the rollup door is our "SAFETY CUT" panel saw for breaking full size sheets down to their individual components. The indexing saw carriage pivots for either cross cuts or rip cuts. It has it's own shop vac for dust collection.

Back to Top Also just inside & facing the rollup door is our "JET" 3HP cabinet saw mounting a 10" blade. It is positioned this way so that long rip cuts can go out the door. The saw is surrounded by support tables with a total footprint of 6' x 8' with a rip fence allowing 62" cuts to the right of the blade. The fence is fitted with a DRO (DIGITAL READ OUT) which displays in fractions or .xxx decimals in addition to the standard rule & sight. It is serviced by it's own 2HP dust & chip collector.

Back to Top The table saw also houses a 2.5HP router & a fence rail is mounted to the side of the table to provide a guide.

Back to Top The bulk of the routing is channeled through the stand alone router table. The top accepts drop-in plates so changing routers is as simple as lifting one out and dropping one in. We currently have 9 routers and 7 of them have tooling in them that is not taken out or adjusted unless they need sharpened or replaced. It is on a mobile base and connects to the chip collector at the table saw to collect the debris it generates.

Back to Top This is our shaper with the panel raising tooling. This tool is not changed or adjusted unless it needs sharpened or replaced. It is on a mobile base and a large shop vac supplies the chip & dust control.

Back to Top This is our 15" thickness planer. It is on a mobile base and connects to the chip collector at the table saw. For large runs of lumber, we will add an intermediate chip collector which is easier to empty. It is fitted with a DRO for thickness control.

Back to Top This smaller shaper mounts the tooling we use for the perimeter edges of the cabinet doors and drawer faces, and yes, you guessed it, the tooling is not changed or adjusted unless it needs sharpened or replaced. It is on a mobile base and a large shop vac supplies the chip & dust control.

Back to Top This is our semi-automatic pocket hole machine for use in fabricating face frames for cabinets and a few other joints. It is on a mobile stand with adjustable supports to the left & right and it just drops it's mess onto the floor.

Back to Top Then we have the 17" drill press.

Back to Top The 12" sliding compound miter saw with laser sighting. Not shown is the 12" compound miter saw with digital bevel angle & miter angle display as well as laser sighting.

Back to Top The hollow chisel mortiser.

Back to Top The 13" portable (you'll think differently if you try to lift it) planer & a host of drills, nail guns, staple guns, brad & pin nailers, spray guns...where does it all stop?
